This awesome ringer tee honors the Dirt Diggers Motorcycle Club, a motocross organization in California. The shirt features a double sided graphic, with the larger image on the back, of the Dirt Diggers logo. The club was founded in the late 60s, making this one of the earlier keepsakes from the organization.
The Dirt Diggers host tons of annual races and events in the California area. They host Tourist Trophy style races, which take place on flat oval dirt tracks, and even races in the desert. Their oldest race, called Hangtown, historically took place in Placerville, CA. The race's name is derived from the city's old nickname, which comes from the Gold Rush days when Placerville had a reputation for the number of hangings that it hosted. After about a decade, the Hangtown race became so popular that Sacramento County and the Dirt Diggers built a permanent facility for the event. These days, Hangtown is the longest-running club sponsored motocross event in the nation.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt is thin, soft, and distressed with several holes and stains throughout, see pics.
