This cool tee was made in honor of the 4th Annual Wing Ding, an event that was held in the spring of 1985. There's not much other info on the tee to explain what exactly the Wing Ding was. There is an annual motorcycle rally called the Wing Ding, although that event dates back to the late 70s. The Northwestern Duck Hunters' Association also holds a yearly event called the Wing Ding, which includes a catered dinner and a gun raffle.
