This vintage shirt was made by the popular athletic apparel company Adidas, and it features both the company's classic trefoil logo and three horizontal stripes across the chest. Adidas founder, Adi Dassler, actually used to refer to Adidas as "The Three Stripes Company", because of how distinctive their branding was. Dassler had initially bought the three stripe branding from a Finnish sports company in 1952, for the equivalent of around $1700 and two handles of whiskey.

This shirt was made in the 80s, when Adidas was particularly popular among streetwear and hip hop fashion. Golden Era rap group, Run D.M.C. actually wrote a song called "My Adidas", which they performed at a concert in front of an Adidas marketing executive. The group asked the audience to hold up their sneakers to demonstrate to the executive how popular they had made the shoes, and after seeing a sea of sneakers in the air, Run D.M.C. was given a sponsorship deal with the company.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt is soft, thin, and distressed with several holes, see pics.
