This awesome band shirt pays tribute to Aerosmith and includes the name of the band's official fan club, Aero Force One. This sweet shirt comes from a concert tour that lasted from 1987 to 1988. This tour was designed to help promote the band's ninth studio album Permanent Vacation. This album from Geffen Records marked the first time that Aerosmith chose to work with songwriters outside of the band, and the decision definitely paid off. Permanent Vacation wound up producing three top twenty singles, "Angel", "Rag Doll", and one of the Aerosmith's most memorable hits "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)".

Permanent Vacation wound up becoming the group's best-selling album in over a decade. This might have been thanks to the band's recent trip to rehab. Lead vocalist, Steven Tyler, was quoted saying that Permanent Vacation was the first album they ever produced sober. The album's success can also be partially credited to the involvement of producer Bruce Fairbairn, who had previously produced the wildly successful records Slippery When Wet and New Jersey by Bon Jovi.

Despite this commercial turning point for the band, the promotional tour for Permanent Vacation proved tricky at times. Aerosmith toured alongside their labelmates Guns N' Roses, a band known for their rampant drug use. The group was able to resist relapse however, and produced an even more successful follow up album, Pump.

Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. This shirt is distressed. It is soft and thin with several small holes, see pics.
