This sweet vintage band tee is for Def Leppard, and it celebrates the release of their fourth studio album, Hysteria. The album came out in 1987, and it was a huge commercial success that wound up spawning seven hit singles. These included "Animal", "Women", "Armageddon II", "Love Bites", "Rocket", the title track, and what would become the band's signature song, "Pour Some Sugar on Me".
Hysteria was the first album released by the band following drummer Rick Allen's tragic car accident, which resulted in the amputation of his left arm. The title of the album was actually inspired by the event and the ensuing media coverage surrounding it. Allen worked tirelessly following his accident to relearn how to drum with his new handicap. During their set at the 1986 Monsters of Rock festival, Allen made his official comeback and the accomplishment was met with an emotionally charged ovation from the crowd.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small. This shirt is soft, thin, and distressed, with several runs in the fabric, see pics.
