This awesome muscle tee is from the Monkees' 20th Anniversary Celebration Tour, and it features portraits of the participating band members Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork, and Davy Jones. The Monkees originated as a fictional band back in the 1960s. They were the subject of an eponymous sitcom about an up-and-coming rock band, but once they started actually recording and releasing music, the Monkees quickly became one of the most commercially successful bands of the decade.

The band enjoyed a resurgence in popularity during the mid 80s, when channels like MTV and Nickelodeon began airing reruns of the original TV show. Encouraged by this wave of new and returning fans, the Monkees decided to embark on a reunion tour that honored their 20th anniversary.
