This sweet shirt commemorates the 1980 edition of the NHRA Sportsnationals competition. This drag racing event was introduced in the 70s, and for several years it was a highly anticipated tradition that was held at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Considered the premiere events for sportsman racers, the race was put on hiatus in the mid 80s, until it returned in 2005.
