This awesome black t-shirt is from the underground Detroit-based punk label Tremor Records. The label was founded in 1977 and it was started by members of the band Cinecyde who were frustrated with the music scene at the time. Cinecyde's music was heavily inspired by b-horror movies, thanks in part to their guitarist, Jim Olenski's job at a video store. They incorporated a lot of inspiration from b-movies in their lyrics and label's asthetic. The band released their first 45 rpm titled Gutless Radio on Tremor Records. It was written by lead singer Gary Reichel about his disgust for the local radio. Tremor Records went on to represent a number of relativity unknown Detroit bands such as Boners, The Cubes, The Ivories, Histeric Narcotics, Jerry Vile and the Weazles, Circuit 11, Exotic Surgery, Natasha Norton, Phobelex, and the Junk Monkeys.
