This sweet vintage tee was made to celebrate the recommissioning of BB-61, better known as the naval battleship the USS Iowa. The lead ship of her class, this battleship served in the Atlantic Ocean during World War II. She was used to transport President Franklin D. Roosevelt and was later used in the Korean War as well. This shirt reads "Fire Power", and features the date that the Iowa was originally commissioned, 1943, and the date of her recommissioning in 1984. The ship was put back into action as a part of the United States' 600-ship Navy plan.
