This awesome concert tee comes from Van Halen's 1984 World Tour. 1984 was both the year of the promotional tour and the name of the studio album that it was launched to support. This was the band's sixth studio album, and their final release before the departure of their original lead singer David Lee Roth. Roth departed the band the following year due to creative differences, and chose to launch a successful solo career, while Van Halen continued playing with a new lead vocalist, Sammy Hagar.
Despite the album marking the end of an era for the band, 1984 was one of the group's most successful records. It peaked at the number two spot on the Billboard 200, only barred from the top by Michael Jackson's Thriller. The album featured a number of beloved singles, including "Jump", "Panama", "I'll Wait", and "Hot for Teacher". By the end of the 1990s, the record managed to sell more than ten million copies, earning 1984 diamond status.
