This sweet t-shirt pays tribute to the classic killer rabbit scene from the beloved comedy film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The scene was written by Monty Python members Graham Chapman and John Cleese and it depicts King Arthur and his men facing off against an unexpectedly and comically dangerous and violent rabbit. The only solution to defeat the rabbit is to use the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch which should be lobbed at enemies after the count of three, not five.
While filming the rabbit scene, a live rabbit was used in certain shots and the crew used red dye to make it appear as if the rabbit's fur was marred with blood. They thought the dye they were using was easily washable, but when it was time to return the rabbit to its owner they found it was not. They actually had to stop filming while the cast desperately attempted to clean the rabbit.
