Billed as "The Next Big Thing", he went on to win that year's King of the Ring title, and he became the youngest wrestler to ever win the WWE Championship at the age of just 25.

Lesnar's quick rise to prominence, led to a feud with one of his most infamous rivals, The Undertaker. However, his initial venture with the WWE was cut short in 2004. Lesnar left the franchise to play professional football for the Minnesota Vikings, but he was cut from the team during the pre-season. He later returned to the WWE in 2012, and it wasn't long before he became the Universal Champion.
