Bunny Wailer was a legendary reggae musician and original founding member of the Wailers. His contributions to reggae music spanned a beautiful seven decades and comprised of unforgettable albums like Blackheart Man and Protest. His friends and fans also knew him as Bunny Livingston, Bunny O' Riley, or Jah B.
In 1963, Bunny Wailer founded the famous reggae group The Wailers alongside Bob Marley and Peter Tosh. Throughout his career, he also experimented with styles beyond reggae like ska, disco, pop, and dancehall. Among his many projects, Blackheart Man (1976) made the biggest waves, and truly set a precedence for a prolific solo career.
As the 90s rolled around, Bunny won three Grammys for Best Reggae Album. Jah B passed in early 2021 but his legacy lives on through his numerous contributions to reggae, an unwavering fan base, and all the love and admiration of his family and friends.
