This cool vintage tee pays tribute to the indie rock band, Silkworm. This shirt was made in the 90s and features art by Stephen Walter, the same artist responsible for designing the covers for their albums Firewater and Developer. Silkworm's debut album, L'ajre, was released in 1992, and it was followed by In the West, which was recorded with the help of Steve Albini, the same producer behind legendary records like Surfer Rosa by the Pixies and Nirvana's In Utero. Albini had actually attended the same high school as founding band members: Tim Midyett, Andy Cohen, and Joel RL Phelps, and he contacted the group by calling in during a radio interview at Northwestern University.

From the 90s and into the 2000s, Silkworm wound up releasing nine studio albums. They're remembered for songs like "Couldn't You Wait?", "Nerves", "Treat the New Guy Right", and "Wet Firecracker".
