This awesome band tee is for the SoCal punk band, Sublime and it celebrates the 1997 compilation album Second-hand Smoke. This album wound up going Platinum, and it featured some previously unreleased material from the group. However, at the time that the album was released, Sublime was technically broken up.
In the spring of 1996, Sublime's lead singer Bradley Nowell, tragically died of a drug overdose. The singer had struggled with heroin addiction and had a fatal relapse during one of the band's tours. The remaining members had no interest in continuing to perform and record after the death of their beloved friend. However, they were locked into a contract with MCA Records, who pushed them to release several compilation albums following Nowell's death.
Much of the band's mainstream success didn't actually occur while Nowell was still alive, but as of 2022 the group has sold more than 20 million records around the globe. Surviving members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh have also since performed as the band Sublime with Rome, a title which refers to their new guitarist Rome Ramirez, a former fan of the original band, who also hails from California.
Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. There are some spots, see pics.
