This incredible racing tee is from the 1977 United States Grand Prix West, which was officially known as the Long Beach Grand Prix, thanks to it being hosted in Long Beach, California. The shirt includes a cheeky slogan that says, "Do it in the streets". This was the fourth race of that year's World Championship of Formula One Drivers.
Competitors had to complete 80 laps of a temporary street course, and the winner wound up being Mario Andretti in a Lotus-Ford. Andretti had been number two in the qualifying, after Niki Lauda, and he managed to hold off Lauda and become the first American driver to ever win an F1 race on home soil.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There is a small hole near the collar, see pics.
