This cool kid's tee features the emblem of the famous DC superhero, Superman. While the Man of Steel made his print debut in 1938, this shirt is copyright 1977, and was likely made in anticipation of the 1978 Superman film starring Christopher Reeve. This movie was the first of four films featuring Reeve as the titular hero. The cast also included Marlon Brando as Superman's father, Margot Kidder as Lois Lane, and Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor.
