This sweet cut up band tee is for a New York hardcore band called Murphy's Law. The group was first formed in 1982, and unlike many of their NYHC peers who were proudly straight edge, Murphy's Law was known for their raucous lyrics centering around drinking, smoking, and partying. The band's first ever release was a 1983 LP titled Bong Blast. This was followed by self-titled studio album in 1986, that was released through Profiles Records, who were attempting to broaden their scope beyond the genre of hip hop. This t-shirt shares the same cartoon illustration as the album's cover, which was drawn by the band's guitarist Alex Morris.

Some tracks off the album included "Beer", "Fun", and "Care Bear", which went on to become favorites at their live shows. While the album shared the fast-paced style of New York hardcore, and the laid-back vibes of California punk, it's also been credited as a major influence on the burgeoning thrash metal scene from that time period.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt has a cut neck, cut sleeves, and a hole on the front, see pics.
