This awesome shirt celebrates Homey D. Clown, one of the many quirky characters featured on the iconic 90s sketch show, In Living Color, and it includes his catchphrase, "Homey don't play that". In Living Color was created by Keenen Ivory Wayans, and the show stood out for showcasing top notch Black comedians, and more irreverent Black humor than what had previously been shown on mainstream television. The show essentially paved the way for series like The Chapelle Show and Key & Peele, and it also introduced the world to talent like Jamie Foxx, Jim Carrey, and David Alan Grier.

Homey D. Clown was portrayed by Damon Wayans, who starred in the show alongside his brother for the first few seasons. The show's ninth episode introduced Homey as an anti-social convict forced to perform community service as an un-enthused party clown. The character's personality was apparently based on one of the show's writers, Paul Mooney, who is perhaps best known for his work writing for Richard Pryor.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There is a small hole on the shoulder, see pics.
