This sweet vintage band tee was made for the group Rage Against the Machine, and the shirt is copyright 1999, which was the year the band released the album The Battle of Los Angeles. This was the band's third studio album, and it featured the Grammy Award-nominated song, "Guerilla Radio". The song was written about the struggles of oppressed people against those in power, and as a dig at the exploitation of garment workers, and the music video included a parody of late 90s Gap commercials.

Since their inception in the early 90s, RATM has been known for their political lyrics and outspoken activism. The Battle of Los Angeles was released around the height of the band's mainstream popularity, and the album even debuted at the top of the charts. This success came just a few months before the band incited an incident at the New York Stock Exchange, while filming the music video for one of the tracks off the album. After shooting the video for "Sleep Now in the Fire", with the encouragement of the video's director, Michael Moore, the band led their fans in storming the NYSE. This resulted in trading getting shut down for around two hours that day.

Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. There is a hole on the front graphic, see pics.
