This 80s concert tee is not only remarkably rare but holds a rich music history. It's from the 1988 edition of the concert series called Day on the Green, a masterpiece presented by legendary promoter Bill Graham. The shows date back to 1973 and ran into the early 1990s at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in California. Featuring epic graphics, lovely one hundred percent cotton, and double sided print- this souvenir tee has aged nicely and ready for many more years of love and wear.

The 1988 Day on the Green featured two nights of otherworldly performances by Pink Floyd. The show amassed 78,000 fans the first night, and sold out at 90,000 fans the second night. It was part of their Momentary Laspe of Reason tour, their very first since 1981. This very tee appears to have been made for staff members of Pink Floyd's team.  

The epic concert actually almost didn't happen when Roger Waters, who left the band in 1985, threatened to sue the band and any promoter who put on a Pink Floyd show. Being the great that he was, Bill Graham, worked out a deal with Waters and the show went on. To this day, concert goers reminiscent and honor the beautiful days of Graham's Day on the Green. It is often celebrated through memorabilia and collectibles like posters, videography, photographs, and super rare t-shirts like this one.
