This gorgeous sweater was made all the way back in the 1940s, and it's remained in wonderful condition for more than half a century. This sweater was made by the men's clothing store chain, Silverwoods, which was first established in Los Angeles during the late 19th century. Made from a thick yet breathable wool material, this pullover sweater resembles those worn by Navy sailors, and even comes in a rich shade of navy blue. Some key characteristics include the boat neck collar, which used to be a standard of the French Navy, as the wide collar made the shirt easier to remove if a man fell overboard. The sweater also has a high rib knit waist, which allows it to fit snugly over a pair of high waisted trousers.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There are some small holes and a repair on the chest, see pics.
