This awesome shirt pays tribute to the Badger comic books created by Mike Baron in the 80s. Baron would go on to become known for also writing The Flash for DC and The Punisher for Marvel, but he originally proved his prowess as a comics writer with the series Nexus and Badger. Both of the original titles were initially published by Capital Comics, however this shirt is copyright 1988, after Capital ceased publishing and Baron moved the series to First Comics.
Badger's titular hero was the vigilante alter ego of protagonist Norbert Sykes, who was a Vietnam War veteran suffering from dissociative identity disorder. The comics' gritty action sequences and offbeat humor placed it right at home in the world of 80s superheros. After the Vietnam War, many comics fans were looking for darker and more complex heroes, and Badger fit the bill perfectly.
Fits like a modern unisex adult oversized large. There are some small holes, see pics.
