This awesome shirt has an all over print design showcasing the legendary rock band the Beatles. Widely considered one of the most influential musical groups of all time, the Beatles rank as the best-selling musical act in history, and they completely dominated the 60s with records likes Help!, Rubber Soul, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and Yellow Submarine.
This shirt actually features a portrait of the band that was taken during their last ever photo session before their breakup in 1970. The photo was taken two days after the group's final recording session together, at John Lennon and Yoko One's home of Tittenhurst Estate. The photo was taken by Ethan Russell, whose pictures from that session were also used for the cover of Hey Jude, a 1970 compilation of non-album singles and B-sides. Russell was also the same photographer responsible for the photos used in the packaging for the Beatles' final studio album, Let It Be.
This tee is copyright 1995, right around when The Beatles Anthology was first broadcast. This documentary series gave a retrospective on the band's incredible legacy, and it was accompanied by the release of multiple double albums.
