This vintage tee has an awesome all over print design honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The shirt features both portraits of the influential civil rights activist, and the quote "I have a dream" from his iconic speech at the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. A Baptist minister and the pastor of the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama, Dr. King was a leading figure of the Montgomery Bus Boycott that was started in 1955. His involvement allowed him to gain national recognition and he became one of the best known civil rights activists of the 20th century.

King was elected the first president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and he helped to organize various nonviolent protests throughout the US. His dedication to fighting racial inequality is still praised to this day, and the unrest that followed his assassination ultimately pushed Congress to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1968.
