This great tee celebrates the Baltimore Colts football team.The Baltimore Colts date back to the All-American Football Conference in 1947. This tee was made in the early 80s, shortly before the Colts were moved to Indianapolis in 1984. 

By the mid 80s, Memorial Stadium in Baltimore was no longer up to the modern standards of an NFL team and Indianapolis had recently built their Hoosier Dome. The Baltimore Colts were moved overnight into their new complex and many Baltimore fans were heartbroken, not only over the loss of the team but the franchise name. There was an upside however. The ordeal inspired city officials to build Oriole Park at Camden Yards, lest Baltimore lose their other major league team. The city also gained the Baltimore Ravens in the mid 90s, and this new NFL team has been one of the most successful franchises since.
