This awesome tee features a graphic that was made famous by the iconic punk rock artist known as Bad Otis Link. The shirt features a portrait of the 40th President of the United States, Ronald Reagan, and it bears a simple message that reads, "Reagan hates me." Reagan's presidency notoriously popularized conservative values in America during the 1980s, and his policies prioritized economic growth at the cost of social services and safety nets. Reagan's policies were not kind to poor or minority communities, and he was staunchly despised by most punks.
Thus Otis Link was inspired to create this delightful tee. Link was a well known figure in the Southern California punk scene during the 80s. He could often be found at shows produced by Gary Tovar and Goldenvoice Productions, selling original merch designs for bands like Circle Jerks, Bad Brains, Social Distortion, TSOL, and Bad Religion. The "Reagan Hates Me." design used to be one of Link's best-sellers, and he originally promoted it via an ad he took out in National Lampoon.
Fits like a modern unisex adult large. This shirt is off white in color with some light discoloration, see pics.
