This awesome Scorpions tee is from their 1988 tour. The heavy metal band was on tour in 1988 to promote their tenth studio album, Savage Amusement, and this tee features the same graphic as the cover of the album. Scorpions were formed in 1965 in Hanover, Germany by guitarist Rudolf Schenker. At the time of the 1988 tour the band was composed of their most well known lineup with Schenker, Klaus Meine, Matthias Jabs, Francis Bucholz, and Herman Rarebell.
Savage Amusement was the band's last album with legendary German rock producer, Dieter Dierks. It featured the single "Rhythm of Love", which made it to the number six spot on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, as well as a cover of the Who song, "I Can't Explain". During this time, Scorpions also became only the second western, non-American musical group to perform in the Soviet Union.
The tag says XL, but the shirt fits like a modern unisex adult large. This t-shirt is thin & distressed with small holes throughout. There is some fading on the back graphic, see pics
