This amazing double-sided concert tee is for the Queen of Percussion herself, Sheila E. and it celebrates her 1986 concert tour. Sheila E. is a percussionist, singer, author, and actress who has drummed for such major superstars as Madonna, Prince, Ringo Starr, and Beyonce. She's also had her own successful freestyle music career and fans will fondly remember her hit song "The Glamorous Life".

Shelia E. started her musical career in the mid 70s as the percussionist and singer of the George Duke Band. She also worked with Lionel Ritchie, Marvin Gaye, and Diana Ross. In June of 1984, she released her debut album The Glamorous Life, which contained her career-defining hit. The song earned MTV award nominations for Best Female Video, Best New Artist, and Best Choreography. It also helped her to earn Grammy Award nominations for Best New Female Artist and Best Pop Vocal Performance Female. Sheila then toured as the opening act for Prince's Purple Rain Tour and she provided vocals for his B-side to "Let's Go Crazy", "Erotic City".

Sheila E. released her second album Romance 1600 in 1985, and the album featured the singles "Sister Fate" and "A Love Bizarre". After the conclusion of her 1986 tour, she became Prince's drummer and the musical director of his band. During that period she also released an eponymous album that featured the ballad "Hold Me".
