This awesome vintage rock tee is for the heavy metal group, Judas Priest from their 1984 Tour in support of the band's ninth studio album, Defenders of the Faith. The t-shirt shows off an image of the Metallian which is also pictured on the album's cover art that was designed by Doug Johnson. The Metallian is a ram-horned tiger-like creature conceptualized by the band and it is said to have risen from the darkness as the master of all metal.

The album was a success, peaking at number 18 on the US Billboard 200. It included the singles "Freewheel Burning", "Some Heads Are Gonna Roll", and "Love Bites". It also included the song "Eat Me Alive" which created some controversy after it landed at the number 3 spot on the Parents Music Resource Center's "Filthy Fifteen" list. Tipper Gore, co-founder of the organization, claimed the song was about oral sex at gunpoint. These accusations prompted the band to record a song criticizing censorship called "Parental Guidance", which was released on their following album, Turbo.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small. The sleeves have been cut and the shoulder seam has been repaired, see pics.
