This vintage ringer t-shirt is a souvenir from Lake Powell, a reservoir on the Colorado River that stretches across both Arizona and Utah. This shirt comes from one of the cities bordering the lake, Page, Arizona, and it celebrates a 100 Mile Swim Challenge event that was held to celebrate the restoration of the Statue of Liberty, which took place in 1986, the same year as the Statue's centennial. As of 2017 the record time for swimming a continuous hundred miles was a little over 67 hours, but 100 mile swim challenges are typically issued for participates to complete over an extended amount of time. In this case, Lake Powell likely issued the challenge to swimmers to correlate with the 100 years since the Statue of Liberty was erected.

The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small. There is a repair on the shoulder and some light spots on the front, see pics.
