This awesome vintage ringer is a souvenir from the Fox Inn, a beloved local tavern that operated in Santa Monica from 1961 to 1989. The front of the shirt showcases a portrait of Bill Foster, the owner of the Fox Inn who used to entertain patrons with what he jokingly called his "songs your mother wouldn't sing (maybe)". Foster was a colorful character who proudly touted the title of "The World's Fastest Beer Drinker", and beer chugging was another talent that he would proudly perform on a nightly basis at the Fox Inn.

Foster built a career out of singing bawdy songs to barroom patrons and drinking beer, and his talents landed him a gig as the MC on the first season of Comedy Central's The Man Show. There his beer drinking prowess was given a national audience under the hosts Adam Carolla and Jimmy Kimmel. Unfortunately Bill "The Fox" Foster died after the taping of the first season of the show in 2000, but this shirt pays tribute to the performer's legacy, even including the traditional German drinking cheer "Zicke Zacke Zicke Zacke hoi hoi hoi!" which he would utter before chugging his beer.
