This sweet vintage raglan was made for the Liberty Bell Invitational. There are two major events that bear this name, the Liberty Bell Invitational cross country meet in Colorado, and the Liberty Belle Invitational bowling tournament in Philadelphia. There was also an invitational sporting event called the Liberty Bell Classic, that was held in Philly in 1980. This event was a track and field meet designed to showcase American athletes in the wake of the US boycott of the 1980 Olympic Games.
