This vintage tee features a quote from Chief Seattle, who was once the leader of the Suquamish Native American people. The namesake of the city of Seattle, he was known for helping to accommodate Washington's early white settlers. The quote on this shirt is taken from Chief Seattle's Speech in 1854, and it reads, "the deer the horse, the great eagle, these are our brothers, the earth is our mother... all things are connected like the blood that unites one family. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons (and daughters) of the earth."
