This 70s Detroit Red Wings jersey was worn by MacGregor in an encore performance in Detroit, Michigan with Foghat. This jersey features the Red Wings team logo front and center.

The Red Wings were hampered throughout the 70s for a number of reasons. The NHL team acquired a new coach in 1970, Ned Harkness, who had found success as an NCAA coach. Much to the team's chagrin Harkness restricted them from having long hair or smoking. He also imposed strict rules in regards to drinking and phone calls. He was forced to resign in 1974, and the era was know as the "Darkness with Harkness".

This fits like a modern unisex adult Small. There are some small spots and discoloration, see pics

This item is from the estate of Craig MacGregor, the bassist for the band Foghat in the 1970s, 80s, and again in the 2000’s.  The item was owned by Craig, a collector of t-shirts, and stored for some time in a basement before it came into our possession.  As a result there may be some lingering basement odor. All items are authentic pieces of rock and roll history and in many cases are one-of-a-kind.  Further authentication and chain-of-custody can be provided upon request.
