This shirt has a graphic on the front of a Minneapolis, Minnesota police badge with the letters "NPG" on it, which stands for Prince's backup band, New Power Generation. NPG backed Prince from 1990 to 2013. Prince was a prominent musician throughout the 80s and was known for his flamboyant stage presence and extravagant costumes and makeup. A Minnesota native, he pioneered the Minneapolis sound, which blended funk rock with new wave. On the back of the shirt is the "Love Symbol", which acted as Prince's legal name throughout the 90s as he released albums at a rapid pace to get out of contracts. During this time, he was called "The Artist Formerly Known As Prince".

Prince's albums "Prince", "Dirty Mind", and "Controversy" and "Purple Rain" saw critical success, reaching platinum status. Purple Rain is considered his most successful album.

This shirt fits like a modern unisex adult extra large.

There is a small repair on the back, and the graphic is cracking. See pics.
