This awesome vintage button down is a rayon cowboy shirt from the 1940s. The 40s were a decade during which both western cinema and western fashion really took off. Many people were drawn to the idyllic stories of heroism and adventure that western movies offered, and as a result, many Americans became eager to recreate the styles they saw in their favorite western films.

Unlike many western shirts from this time period, this shirt features button closures instead of pearl snaps. The shirt comes in a solid shade of light brown, and it has two flapped chest pockets, and a center pleat down the back.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There is a faded stamp on the front near the bottom and a small hole on the back, see pics.
