This long sleeved jersey dates all the way back to the 1950s, and it's in amazing shape even after more than half a century. The jersey reps the number 27 on both the front and back and it features yellow and blue detailing. This shirt doesn't specify what team it was made for, and it's most likely that it was just for a local team, however the shirt does share the same colors as the University of Michigan and UCLA, both of which were well established in the 50s.

A jersey like this would have been used to play football back in the 50s, before players were required to wear lots of bulky plastic padding. Before the 60s, players relied on leather pads to protect against injury and some padding was sewn into the uniform, just like the elbow pads featured on this shirt.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There is a small spot on the back, see pics.
