Long before texting and instant messaging, telegraphy was used to transmit long distance messages all around the globe. After the invention of electric telegraphy and before transcontinental telephone service was available, telegrams were a great way to quickly deliver information. They later became more of a novelty service, and this shirt pays perfect homage to that.
