This black vintage tee is from a production of the musical Guys and Dolls that was staged by the Chapel Street Players back in 1985. The Chapel Street Players were a drama group started by Jane Ciarcia in 1972. Initially the troupe was open for members of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Stratford, Connecticut, but by the mid 80s they had begun taking volunteers from all walks of life. Guys and Dolls is a musical based on the short stories "The Idyll of Miss Sarah Brown" and "Blood Pressure" by Damon Runyon, and it's famous for musical numbers like "Luck Be a Lady" and "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat".
