This sweet ringer is from the legendary Gilley's in Pasadena, Texas. Opened in the early 1970s, Gilley's used to be the area's hottest honky tonk. It was named after Mickey Gilley, a budding country music star who was to be the club's headlining act. The bar was a near-instant sensation, and it was famous for its vast size that could accommodate up to 6000 patrons. In addition to its massive dance floor, Gilley's was also home to a shooting gallery, pool tables, and mechanical bulls. Already a popular spot, Gilley's later gained even more attention when it was used as the setting for the 1980 John Travolta film, Urban Cowboy.

The tag says large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There's some light discoloration on the back and under the arms, see pics.
