This super soft tri blended tee sports an image of the now defunct Camel cigarettes mascot, Joe Camel. Also known as Old Joe, the anthropomorphic camel was first introduced to European consumers in 1974, and later made his US debut in 1988. This tee actually sports the original Joe Camel design that was created by the British artist, Nicholas Price.

Old Joe was first brought to America to help promote the 75th anniversary of the Camel brand. A new version of Joe was created for American consumers, that was drawn by Mike Salisbury. This version was intended to be more expressive and hip, but Joe's makeover proved somewhat too successful. When research uncovered how recognizable the character was among children, it triggered a lawsuit against the R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, and the ad campaign eventually came to an end in 1997.

The tag says large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There are several small holes throughout, see pics.
