T-shirts from this annual event hold a big significance as a very limited number are made each year, and they're only issued to runners who finish the race. Over the years, Peachtree shirts have become status symbols in the Atlanta running scene. The Peachtree Road Race has roots dating back to 1970 and it holds the record for world's largest 10K. With a whopping 60,000 participant cap, the event is still unable to accommodate the 70,000 runners who try to sign up.
