This awesome concert tee pays tribute to Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band, and the shirt was made for the group's Stranger in Town Tour from 1978. The tour promoted the release of Seger's tenth studio album of the same name. This was only his second release with the Silver bullet Band on backup, as the group had been formed in 1974 and they made their studio debut on Seger's highly successful 1976 release, Night Moves.
Stranger in Town was the follow up to Night Moves, and just like its predecessor it went on to be certified 6x platinum. The album featured several notable hits, including "Hollywood Nights", "Still the Same", and "Old Time Rock and Roll", which went on to be immortalized in the Tom Cruise film Risky Business. The song has also been ranked the second-most played jukebox single of all time, just after "Crazy" by Patsy Cline. The Stranger in Town Tour occurred right around the peak of Seger's career, and it was followed by the debut of his first ever number one album, Against the Wind.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small. There is a hole in the back of the right sleeve when wearing, see pics. This shirt has an original ticket stub from the concert it was purchased at.
