This amazing vintage rock tee dates all the way back to the 70s, and it was made by the influential t-shirt company Roach. This shirt celebrates one of the best-selling musical acts in history, the Eagles. It also commemorates what's arguably considered to be the band's most iconic record, Hotel California.
Released in 1976, Hotel California remains one of the best-selling albums in the US, and it's only outranked by AC/DC's Back in Black, Michael Jackson's Thriller, and another release from the Eagles, Their Greastest Hits, which debuted the same year as Hotel California. This shirt was made during the peak of the Eagles' incredible success, as the group cemented themselves as one of the most popular bands of the decade, an impressive feat considering the 70s also gave birth to bands like Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, and Queen.
This shirt features the same photograph that was used for the cover of the album, of The Beverly Hills Hotel. The cover photo was shot by David Alexander, under the art direction of the English graphic artist, Kosh. Kosh worked with the Eagles on several other albums, and he was also the art director behind the Beatles' iconic Abbey Road cover.
Fits like a modern unisex adult large. This shirt is soft and thin with several holes, see pics.
