This cool ringer t-shirt is for the band Dead East and it pays tribute tot the group's debut album Flat as a Pancake, which was officially released in 1975. The album was at first produced independently with Pyramid Records, but after radio stations began playing the song "Never Been Any Reason", A&M Records decided to sign the band and rerelease it. The back of the A&M cover features a photograph of the Rite-Way Diner in Olivette, Missouri.
Flat as a Pancake managed to reach gold status and produced a second hit for the band titled "Love Me Tonight". They released two more albums before the end of the decade Get Yourself Up and Gettin' Lucky, however neither of their follow ups managed to be as successful as their debut. Their last release of the 70s was a self-titled album in 1978, which featured a cover of Russ Ballard's "Since You Been Gone". The song made it to the number 46 spot on the charts. The group performed on the soundtrack for the comic anthology film J-Men Forever, and then later fell into obscurity as the years progressed.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small.
