This sweet raglan t-shirt is for the celebrated southern rock band ZZ Top. The shirt was made in the 70s to honor their fourth album, Fandango! and the back includes lyrics from the hit single "Tush", reading, "take me downtown, I'm lookin' for some tush!" Released in 1975, Fandango! debuted fairly early on in ZZ Top's long and storied career. The band's previous album, Tres Hombres had been their commercial breakthrough, and it was during the Tres Hombres promotional tour, that they recorded the live tracks that would make up one side of the Fandango! album.
"Tush" was the only single released off Fandango!, but it became the band's first top 40 hit. The album also led to The Worldwide Texas Tour, an elaborate stadium tour that truly solidified ZZ Top as one of the top rock acts of the era. Bill Narum, who also designed the cover for Fandango! was tasked with designing the Worldwide Texas Tour stage. To truly evoke the spirit of the band's home state, the show also incorporated live animals such as a Texas Longhorn, turkey vultures, and even a pair of diamondback rattlesnakes.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There are some holes on the front and back and some small spots, see pics.
