This sweet shirt celebrates the English musician Adam Ant, and this tee commemorates the release of his debut solo album, Friend or Foe. Adam Ant first came onto the music scene in the late 70s, as the lead vocalist for the group Adam and the Ants. The band released their debut album Dirk Wears White Sox, before getting a major lineup change. Initially Ant had approached Malcolm McLaren to ask him to manage the group. Instead McLaren wound up swiping the rest of the band to create a new group called Bow Wow Wow. A second version of Adam and the Ants was then formed, and they released two more albums before going their separate ways.
The band's breakup was no issue for Ant, who immediately launched his own successful solo career. Friend or Foe was released in 1982 and it became Adam Ant's highest charting album. In addition to the title track, the album featured the singles "Desperate But Not Serious" and "Goody Two Shoes", the latter of which, became the singer's signature smash hit.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There are some holes on the front and back, see pics.
