This sweet double sided shirt celebrates Billy Idol and his Whiplash Smile Tour from 1986. The tour was launched to promote Idol's third studio album of the same name, and the record saw Idol continue his collaboration with producer Keith Forsey and guitarist Steve Stevens. Whiplash Smile produced three singles which all managed to breach the Top 40 of the Billboard chart, these included "To Be a Lover", "Don't Need a Gun", and "Sweet Sixteen".

Billy Idol had first achieved fame as the lead vocalist of the 70s punk band Generation X, before he embarked on his solo career. Idol quickly found success with his eponymous debut album in 1982, and the back of this tee references several of his previous hits. The back graphic reads, "This ain't no 'White Wedding'... This ain't no 'Rebel Yell'... This ain't no 'Midnight Hour'... This is a Whiplash Smile".

Fits like a modern unisex adult large. There is some discoloration, see pics.
