This sweet vintage tee is for the band Blackfoot and the shirt celebrates the group's 1980 promotional tour for their album Tomcattin'. The tour was launched the same year as the album, and the group had also been on tour the year prior. They were even invited to open for The Who at the Silverdome, during the band's first tour following the untimely death of Keith Moon. Tomcattin' didn't spawn any singles, but it did include the song "Fox Chase", which featured guitarist Rickey Medlocke's grandfather, Shorty Medlocke.

Blackfoot was first formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1970, and they were particularly popular throughout the decade thanks to the growing interest in the southern rock genre. Founding members Medlocke and Greg T. Walker were also members of one of the most beloved southern rock bands of all time, Lynyrd Skynrd.
